Who we are

Alma Co. is a brand identity studio based in Atlanta, Georgia, working with clients across the United States and the Americas in English and Spanish. This policy covers our website, thisisalma.co, in both languages. When we say "we", we mean the studio; the person reading what you send is its founder.

What we collect

Three kinds of information reach us, and you control the first two:

  • What you send us. The brief asks who you are, what you are building and where it is getting stuck — typically your name, email and whatever you choose to share about your business. If you email, call or text us instead, we receive what you send the way anyone does.
  • How the site is used. Google Analytics gives us aggregate usage data — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from (city level), device and browser type, and which link brought them here. It uses cookies to tell returning browsers apart.
  • Whether our advertising worked. When someone completes the brief, a Google Ads tag on the thank-you page records that a campaign led to an inquiry — so we know which ads earn their keep. This measurement uses advertising cookies from Google.

Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP addresses and requests) for security and operations, as virtually every website does.

What we don't collect

Nothing is bought or sold on this site, so it never asks for payment details, card numbers, bank information or any other financial data. There are no user accounts and no passwords. We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and the site is not directed at children under 13 — if you believe a child sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

What we use it for

To answer you — replies go out within 48 hours. To prepare a proposal scoped to what you told us. To remember the conversation if you come back months later. And, in aggregate, to understand which pages and campaigns bring the right people here, so a small studio spends its marketing budget where it works.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing, and no automated system makes decisions about you.

Who processes it for us

Like most modern studios, we run on a few well-known services. Each one processes data only to provide its service to us:

  • Youform — operates the brief form; your answers land in our inbox.
  • Google — Analytics (usage data), Ads (conversion measurement) and Workspace (our email).
  • Vercel — hosts the website and keeps its server logs.

Links to Instagram or LinkedIn take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply — we only publish there.

Cookies, and how to say no

The cookies on this site belong to the Google tools above: analytics cookies that tell visits apart, and advertising cookies that measure conversions. None of them run until you choose — on your first visit a small notice lets you pick each category, and until you decide, everything stays off.

You can change your mind whenever you like: the "Cookies" link at the foot of every page reopens your choices. Beyond this site, you can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com, and block Google Analytics everywhere with Google’s opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works fine without any of them.

How long we keep things

What you send us stays in our inbox for as long as the conversation — or the working relationship it turns into — stays relevant. Analytics and advertising data live in Google’s tools under their retention controls, in aggregate form. If you want your correspondence gone sooner, ask; deleting it takes an email.

Your choices

Wherever you live, the same offer stands: write to vicky@thisisalma.co and we will show you what we have from you, correct it, or delete it — usually within a few days, and we will confirm when it is done. Depending on where you live, local law may also grant you specific privacy rights; nothing on this page limits them.

Where the data lives

The studio operates from the United States, and the services above process data in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere in the Americas — welcome, hablamos español — your information will be processed here.

When this page changes

If our practices change, this page changes first and the date at the top moves with it. We will not quietly expand what we collect.

Talk to us

Questions about any of this — or about your data specifically — go to vicky@thisisalma.co, or call us at +1 800-777-ALMA (2562). A person answers, which is rather the point of this studio.
