For years I worked inside agencies and companies trying to make brands “look good.” But no amount of polish fixes a story that isn’t aligned.

I built Alma Co. to bridge the gap between what founders feel and what the world actually sees. I’m obsessed with uncovering the soul of a brand and turning it into design systems that make sense, feel right, and finally reflect the truth behind the work.

The Journey

For as long as I can remember, I have been pursuing creativity, even before I realized it. Back in my home country, Venezuela, I used to create small logos and posters for clubs and school activities back in middle school. At the time, I didn't give it much thought; I simply enjoyed the concept of giving things an image of their own.

When I moved to the U.S., I studied Computer Animation for my bachelor’s and later earned a master’s in Entertainment Business. I wanted to understand both the art and the structure behind creative work. It intrigued me how ideas turn into something that moves people. Along the way, I met artists, designers, musicians, and business owners who had the spark but didn’t always know how to translate it into a brand that reflected them.

Over the past 10 years, I've worked with agencies, retail businesses, and creative studios, continuously honing the relationship between strategy and design. I learned something new about what makes a brand succeed and what fails in each capacity. Eventually, I came to see that what I truly enjoyed was more than just design. It was giving their creations a visual voice and assisting others in seeing the reality behind them. I came here because of that.

In this phase, we make sure your brand shows up consistently everywhere, with systems and habits that keep it aligned as it grows.

Why Alma?

Because we don’t believe in surface-level branding.

Alma exists because I’ve seen what happens when creativity loses its center. I’ve watched brilliant people doubt their own ideas because the outside didn’t match what they felt inside. I’ve seen brands with potential fall flat because they skipped the truth and went straight for the trend.

I built Alma to change that. To help creatives find the language, visuals, and systems that finally feel aligned with who they are. It’s not about being louder or prettier; it’s about being clear, honest, and intentional.

Every project that comes through Alma starts with one question: what’s at the core of this? Once we find that, everything else falls into place. The message, the visuals, the tone. The chaos starts to make sense.

To me, branding is not decoration. It’s translation. It’s the bridge between your inner world and how people experience your work. When that bridge is strong, your brand stops feeling like an effort and starts feeling like an extension of you.

That’s what Alma stands for: truth before hype, meaning before trends, and growth that doesn’t require you to lose yourself in the process.
